prevent injury to personnel and damage to the equipment.
Safety information
Weight restrictions
The BayStack 10 Power Supply Unit can weigh up to 100 pounds when all components are installed.
Refer to the user documentation of any devices which you plan to place under the BayStack 10 PSU
if you are not installing the BayStack 10 PSU or other devices in a rack. Excess weight may damage
some devices.
Ventilation
The BayStack 10 PSU may be damaged if air flow through the chassis is not adequate. Be sure that
both fans are operating correctly. Be sure to provide at least 2 inches (5.1 cm) of ventilation space on
both sides of the chassis.
DC connector
Each power supply module is shipped with a specific DC connector cable. You must use only the
cable that is shipped with each module. Damage to the module will result if you use other cables, or
if you use the wrong cable.
Power cable
Be sure you are using the correct power cable for your country. The electrical voltage and current
readings for the BayStack 10 Power Supply Unit must be compatible with your power cable. Refer
to the Technical Specifications in Installation and Reference for the BayStack 10 Power Supply Unit.
Warning: Using an improper power cable will damage the unit and attached devices, and
could cause a fire.
