N. IEC POWER SOCKET - Connect the supplied power cord
to a grounded AC receptacle in compliance with the
voltage and frequency ratings specified on the rear panel
of your amplifier.
O. PARALLEL SPEAKER OUTPUTS -
WARNING: In order to maintain the rated load impedance,
disconnect the internal speaker (400 Pro) before
connecting external speakers. See note below.
NOTE: Safety Agencies in some countries have requirements
that prohibit a rating of less than 4-ohms for this product.
However, internal testing and consumer feedback have shown
this product to function reliably with various external speaker
enclosures. Fender ® will warranty this product under normal
usage conditions with external speaker enclosures.
P. GROUND LIFT - Disconnects the LINE OUT {V} ground
connection (pin-1) which may reduce noise levels.

R. LINE OUT LEVEL - Adjusts the output
level of the LINE OUT jack.
S. PRE/POST EQ - Supplies the LINE OUT
jack with the signal either before or after it
is processed by the tone/equalization
circuits.
T. TUNER OUT - Connect your bass tuner to enable inline
instrument tuning (see MUTE {K}).
U. FOOTSWITCH - Connect the included footswitch to
enable remote on/off switching of the semi-parametric
equalizer. NOTE: When connected, the footswitch
overrides EQ ON/OFF {I} on the front panel.
V. EFFECTS - (1) Effects Loop - Connect SEND to the input
of your effects device and the output of the effects device
to RETURN. (2) Multiple Pro™ Amps - Connect SEND on
the primary unit to RETURN on the auxiliary unit. The
primary unit controls all auxiliary units.
W. HORN LEVEL - (400 Pro only) Adjusts the
volume level of the horn (high frequencies).
X. FUSE - (400 Pro only) Protects the horn
from overload damage. If the horn stops
responding, replace the fuse with the same type and rating
as specified on your amplifier (2A, 250V).
