8.4.2 - Manual winch
Semi-static ropes
diameter of between 10 and 12 mm can
be manoeuvred using the winch (I) to lift a
maximum load of 1,5 kN for the entire length
of the rope, and to lower it for short distances
(max 2 m).
Lifting procedure:
- Wind the rope onto the drum (I2) clockwise,
at least 3 turns (fig. 7A),
- Pass it over the self-tailing tooth (I1) as
shown in figure 7B,
- Secure it in the groove in the self-tailing
unit (I1) at least 1 turn, as shown in figure
7C.

a The rope used for lifting using the
winch, must be:
- Connected to one of the anchoring
points at the top (B) using devices
(connectors, pulleys, etc.) with a
minimum breaking load of 40 kN.
- Inserted into the 802.000 "Back-up"
locking device provided. Important:
Check that the back-up device's
selection lever is in the "lock mode"
position (fig. 8).
