Never, under any circumstances, look directly at the Sun,
another bright source of light or at a laser through this device, as
this may cause PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE and may lead to
BLINDNESS.
Digital spotting scope assembly
Take the digital spotting scope and all the accessories out of the package. Place the
tripod on a stable surface. Insert the screw of the tripod into the 1/4" screw hole on
the body of the digital spotting scope (19) and rotate until the spotting scope is firmly
attached. Do not apply excessive pressure when attaching the digital spotting scope.
Charge the built-in Li-ion battery via USB cable. Insert the microSD card into the slot
(9). Press the Power on/off button (2) and hold it for 3 seconds to turn the device on. The
digital spotting scope is now ready to use.
Note: It is recommended to use the included tripod for indoor observations and a
professional tripod (not included in the kit) for observations outside. The tripod helps to
minimize image shaking.
Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never
attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter.
Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most
European countries.
