router until free to remove.
USING THE GUIDE
1. You can make edge-guided cuts
up to 31 in. with the Edge Guide.
Loosen the knobs on the Edge
Guide (Fig.17) and move to the desired position. The edge
guide can be inverted for longer cuts. Retighten the knobs
securely.
2. The center marks (Fig.18) on the Circle/Edge Guide head will
indicate the center of the router bit. They can be used as a
reference point to measure the desired cut length.

Helpful Hint:
• To increase stability for an internal dado cut, you can attach a
flat wooden board to your edge guide
3. You can make circle cuts up to 51 in. in diameter with the
Center Pivot Slide. (Fig.19) Establish your circle diameter and
center point. Loosen the knob on the Slide and move to the
desired position. The arm of the pivot slide can be inverted for
larger diameter cuts. Retighten the knob securely.

the center point of the circle diam-
eter, and the arm of the Pivot
Slide placed on to the cap.

Note: Do not drive the nail in deeper than the top of the
center pivot or you may damage the center pivot
6. Remove the nail with a claw hammer (Fig. 22) and a block of
wood.
Helpful Hints
• If using heavier wood stock, make multi-
ple passes instead of one cut-through.
• Leave 1/16 in. to 1/8 in. wood stock for
a finish cut.
• The measuring scale on the aluminum
beam has both inch and metric
measurements. Use as a reference
for measuring.
