MAKING A CUT
CAUTION
8
• Position the tile to be cut on the resting surface
at the cut point required.
9
a) Rest the tile on the worktable, with the cutting
point aligned. Position the carriage and set up
the cutting wheel using the side levers.
b) Proceed to cut the glaze by pushing on the
movement rod and exerting a constant
downward pressure for the entire length of the
tile.
10
c) Position the breaking foot using the side levers
on the carriage.
d) Then exert a gradually increasing pressure
until the tile is separated.
Use the graduated rods and the adjustable square
for repetitive cuts and / or specific cutting angles.
CAUTION
WHEN WORKING WITH HARD TILES, IT IS
ADVISABLE TO PRESS THE BREAKING FOOT
AGAINST ONE END OF THE TILE UNTIL IT STARTS
TO SEPARATE. COMPLETE THE BREAK BY
PRESSING ON THE OTHER END.
For greater precision, help yourself with the
11
cutting index and the relative tile support plate;
12
• For measurements less than 10 cm use the
LOWER index.
13
• For measurements greater than 10 cm use the
UPPER index.
