Switching on and off (G)
- To switch on the grinder, slide the safety button (6)
and press the switch (1).
- To stop the grinder, release the switch (1).
Tips for work
! Always wait until the blade reaches full speed before
turning it on
! Be careful not to get the grinder cable too close to
the grinding wheel or damage it.
! When switching the grinder on or off, make sure that
the grinding wheel is always out of the material being
machined.
Observe work breaks when working, to ensure a
longer service life of your tools.
Your angle grinder can be used for cutting metals (eg
to remove the screw head), as well as for cleaning /
preparing surfaces (eg before and after welding).
Different types of wheels allow you to perform various
cutting or grinding operations with a grinder. Usually
the discs can be used on mild steel, stainless steel,
stone and brick - depending on the type of disc.
Blades containing diamond particles are used for
cutting very hard materials (concrete).
If you use the grinder on very soft materials, such as
aluminum, the wheel will soon become clogged and
need to be replaced.
If you are cutting holes, make sure the blade is
aligned with the hole. Twisting the blade can cause
it to be destroyed. If you are cutting only a thin layer,
underlay the material, as the risk of damage to the
workpiece increases if the blade penetrates deeper
into the material.
We recommend using a dust extractor when cutting
stone or masonry.
Rough grinding:
For best roughing results, hold the grinding wheel at
an angle of between 15 ° and 20 ° to the workpiece
surface and move it evenly back and forth across the
workpiece.
Cutting:
When using the hand grinder for cutting, avoid tilting
it in the cutting plane. The cutting disc must have a
fl awless cutting edge. A diamond cutting disc is most
suitable for cutting hard stone.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
! Before cleaning and maintenance, always unplug
the tool.
Your tool requires no additional lubrication or
maintenance. There are no parts that you can repair.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
tools. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
Keep the motor fan vents clean.
If you see very little spark in the engine compartment,
your tool is OK. Increased sparking is a fault in the
engine.
Never clean any part of the tool with a hard, sharp or
rough object.
Carbon inspection and replacement
Carbons must be checked regularly.
In case of wear, replace both carbons at the same
time.
Attach the carbon holders.
After attaching the new carbons, let the grinder run for
5 minutes without load.
! Use only carbons of the correct type.
Storage when not used for a long time
Do not store the tool in a place where the temperature
is high.
If possible, store the device in a place with a constant
temperature and humidity.
