R e g a rding the Bias Adjustment on the Hot Rod
Deville/Deville 212:
• Your new Fender amplifier has an internally mounted
variable bias control and is set at the factory. The bias
c o n t rol sets the idle current in your output tubes,
matching the amp to the types of tubes you use. If you
replace your tubes with the Fender types your amp was
originally outfitted with, no bias adjustment is necessary.
A properly biased amp will sound great and will ru n
reliably and safely. Tube location is printed on the tube
label located inside the cabinet.
