Fuel Tank (9) empty
Water in the fuel
Air Cleaner (20) clogged
Engine Switch (14) switched off
Fuel lines clogged
Fuel Tank (9) empty
Spark Plug (22) defective or wrongly gapped
Engine or carburettor fault
Air Cleaner (20) dirty or clogged
Fuel contaminated or impurities in fuel system
Deposits on the Spark Plug (22) electrodes
Incorrect use of Choke Lever (10)
Carburettor or choke mechanism damaged
Carburettor fuel/air ratio settings wrong
Carburettor defective
Saw Chain (2) blunt
Chain Oil Reservoir (15) empty
Chain oil delivery too low
Chain tensioned incorrectly
If the above troubleshooting solutions fail, contact your dealer or an authorised Silverline service centre
Solution
Refill Fuel Tank
Drain the fuel system and flush with 2-stroke mix
Service Air Cleaner or replace if necessary
Switch on Engine Switch
Clean fuel lines and flush with new 2-stroke mix
Refill Fuel Tank
Refer to 'Maintaining the spark plug' and replace Spark Plug if necessary
Contact your authorised Silverline service centre to arrange repair
Refer to 'Maintaining the air cleaner'
Clean fuel lines and flush with new 2-stroke mix
Refer to 'Maintaining the spark plug'
Use Choke Lever only if engine is cold
Contact your authorised Silverline service centre to arrange repair
