At least twice a year, (at the beginning and end of wintering), inspect the following items very carefully::
- bar tension straps
- cable tension straps
- pegs with bushing
Replace any badly worn items that would be likely to prevent correct positioning of the cover immediately.

ERIODIC REPLACEMENT
The cable tension straps and bar tension straps should be replaced systematically every four years.To guarantee safety,
replacement straps must be authentic Calypso straps.
The coping pads are designed to protect the cover against abrasion at the points where it is in contact with the ground.
The rate at which these protective pads are worn will depend on the roughness of the ground surface and the frequency
with which the cover is rolled out and rolled up. They should be replaced at least once a year.
Lateral cables can experience twisting and tensile stress loading and rubbing against the frame of the crank. This can
cause their protective sheath to tear. Should this occur, the protective sheath should be replaced as quickly as possible.
Cable tension strap routing.
The cover fabric is protected by a 3 year guarantee that covers the integrity of the welded seams and the cover fabric's
ability to withstand exposure to UV light. The aluminium bars are covered by a three year guarantee against corrosion
and degradation of the finishing lacquer.
Wear parts and mechanical parts (plugs, coping pads, straps, cam buckles, ratchet buckles, dee and twisted shackles
three-way buckles and sleeves) are guaranteed 6 months.
The crank is covered by a 6 month guarantee against corrosion, the crank mechanism is guaranteed 6 months.
The following are not covered by any guarantee:
- permanent deformation of the bars caused by subjecting the cover to excessive loads (refer to the paragraphs
"Protection against the weather" and "winterizing".
- fabric 'pocketing'.
- the wear of any element subjected to friction, rubbing or stamping (refer to the section "using the cover")
- discolouration of the fabric atrributable to an excessively high concentration of disinfectant or water treatment
products.
and, more generally, any damage directly or indirectly attributable to the installation ,use or maintenance of the
cover other than in accordance with the instructions provided in this document.
Note: Temporary discolouration of the fabric upon contact with water is normal.
