Connection to the mains, start-up and use:
Before plugging-in the device, check the mains voltage and frequency values indicated on the nameplate. The
device is ready to operate as soon as the power lead is correctly plugged-in to the mains socket.
1) A steady red LED indicates that the device is ready to operate.
2) A flashing LED indicates that the device is shut down. There are 3 possible reasons for this:
a) TEMPERATURE PROTECTION:
If the temperature reaches 100°C, the device will shut down. After a maximum of 120 seconds, it will be ready to
operate once more.
b) OVERLOAD PROTECTION (device power limit):
If the device receives a charge of more than 45 A for longer than 10 seconds, it will shut down. It will restart after
10 seconds.
c) SHORT-CIRCUIT PROTECTION:
If the device is subjected to a surge of 65 A, it will shut down, then restart after 8 seconds. The power will be
switched off permanently after 3 short circuits. To resume working, unplug from the mains, wait for about 1 minute,
then reconnect.
