- Cover, as outlined in point 4
- Car Kit 2013, put the lap belt into the holes in the mattress
and the internal fabric of the carrycot.
To remove the carrycot:
- Remove the plastic flaps located in the head zone of the
internal fabric of the carrycot (Fig. 5).
- Release the six elastic straps found on the external perim-
eter of the carrycot (Fig. 5A)
- By pulling upwards, remove the four prongs found in the
head zone of the upper edge of the carrycot (Fig. 5B).
- Release the fabric from the pin located in the head zone
of the carrycot (Fig. 5C) and extract the fabric (Fig. 5D) by
sliding it under the carrycot structure, then release the
fabric from the pin in the foot zone (Fig. 5E).
REPLACING THE CARRYCOT LINING
6. To replace the carrycot lining, repeat the steps illustrated
above in reverse order, using the images for removing
the lining as guidance.
- Insert the fabric beginning at the foot zone of the carrycot,
being careful to stretch out the internal and external parts,
keeping these separate (Fig. 6). Fix the fabric to the pin
located in the foot zone (Fig. 5E).
- Slide the fabric along the structure until it is in the front
part and completely covers the frame of the carrycot. In-
sert the pin at the head zone into the hole in the fabric
(Fig. 5C).
- Insert the elastic straps located on the side edge of the
carrycot (Fig. 5A) and fix the prongs in the designated
slots located on the rear edge in the head zone of the car-
rycot (Fig. 5B).
- Complete the operation by inserting the plastic flaps of
the internal lining between the plastic body and the Sty-
rofoam absorbers (Fig. 5).
HOW TO USE THE HOOD
7. On the inside of the hood, between the visor and the first
section, there is a fabric ring with convenient hooks from
which you can hang soft toys (fig. 7 A).
8. To adjust the hood, pull and/or push it centrally (Fig. 8).
ADJUSTABLE BACKREST - COMFORT SYSTEM
9. The carrycot's backrest can be adjusted gradually. To in-
cline or recline the backrest, use the wheel located on
the outer part of the carrycot near the baby's feet (fig. 9).
WARNING: It is recommended to air the carrycot in case it
has been used for a long time.
CARRY HANDLE
10. The carrycot comes with a convenient carry handle that
can be adjusted in three positions (Fig. 10):
A) Transport
B) Middle
C) Rest
11. To put the handle in the carrying position, grasp it in
the centre and pull it up until you hear a click (fig. 11 );
to put the handle back in the rest position, press both
buttons at the base of the handle at the same time and
then turn the handle downwards (fig. 11A).
WARNING: Do not transport the carrycot with the handle in
middle or rest position, but only with the handle in carrying
position.
USING THE CARRYCOT AS A PRAM
This carrycot can be used as a pram, but ONLY if mounted
on the "BEST FRIEND" stroller.
FASTENING THE CARRYCOT TO THE STROLLER
To fasten the carrycot, it is necessary to remove the stroller
seat or the child car seat if present.
12. Hold the handle in transport position and attach the
carrycot to the fasteners at the side of the stroller with
the foot zone facing the handle of the stroller (Fig. 12),
easing the carrycot onto the frame until it clicks into po-
sition (Fig. 12A).
WARNING: The carrycot should only be installed rearward
facing.
WARNING: before using, make sure that the carrycot is
properly attached by pulling it upwards (Fig. 12C).
REMOVING THE CARRYCOT FROM THE STROLLER
13. With the handle in the transport position, press the but-
ton located in the head zone of the carrycot (Fig. 13),
lifting the carrycot from the stroller frame.
WARNING: The fastening and releasing operations can be
carried out also with your child inside the carrycot; howev-
er, these operations may be more difficult to execute due
to the child's weight. Pay attention when carrying out the
aforementioned operations.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any conformity defect in
normal conditions of use as provided for by the instructions.
The warranty shall not therefore apply in the case of dam-
age caused by improper use, wear or accidental events. For
the duration of the warranty on conformity defects please
refer to the specific provisions of applicable national laws in
the country of purchase, where appropriate.
