6. MAINTENANCE

Carry out the maintenance operations with the machine stopped, after disconnecting
the main feeding switch and when the various components are not at high
temperature.

6.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE

The machine needs no special maintenance, however it is advisable to follow these directions:
♦ ELECTRIC SYSTEM: Periodically check the state of the electric system, with special attention to
connecting cables. IN CASE OF FAILURE, APPLY TO OUR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OR
SKILLED PERSONNEL.
• WATER SUPPLY: Check each week to make sure that no residues have deposited on the water inlet
filter.
♦ AUTOMATIC LEVEL: Disassemble the feeler every 10 months. Check that it is free from
incrustations. If not, clean it without using inflammable liquids and assemble it again by well clamping
the union on the boiler.
♦ SAFETY VALVE: It is necessary to carry out a periodical check in order to guarantee its
effectiveness in case of emergency. Check that there are no incrustations liable to obstruct the exhaust
of the device.
♦ To carry out the cleaning operations, you have to use a damp cloth. Under no circumstances use
inflammable liquids.
• If the appliance will not be used for a long period of time, empty the boiler by means of cock (7).
Keep well away from the water as it drains out since it could be very hot. Store the appliance in a dry
and sheltered place.
