WARNING: DO NOT EXCEED 150 Lbs. (68 Kgs.) cargo weight per crossbar.
(Example: 2 Crossbars Maximum Load Capacity is 300 Lbs. /136 Kgs.)
WARNING: DO NOT EXCEED the lower of Crossbar rating, vehicle manufacturer's weight rating or vehicle manufacturer's
specified load capacity for rain gutter mounted accessories.
WARNING: Load MUST be secured to each crossbar. Use only NON-STRETCH tie down straps to secure load.

1. Assemble INNER and OUTER bar assemblies to stanchions using the ¾" Carriage Bolts and locknuts, see figure 1.
2. Assemble the MOUNTING BRACKETS to each STANCHION using (2) 1" Carriage Bolts, and (1) 1-1/2" hex bolt with flat washers and locknuts as shown.
NOTE: Leave locknuts loose at this time to allow mounting bracket to move freely.
NOTE: To prevent damage to vehicle roof, it is recommended to have second person help in the attachment of the bar assembly to vehicle.
3. Insert the INNER BAR ASSEMBLY into the OUTER BAR ASSEMBLY and carefully place the bar assembly onto the vehicle roof. Place the bottom edge of each
STANCHION into vehicle's rain gutter, figure 2. Slide the MOUNTING BRACKET against the underside of rain gutter.
4. Tighten the 1-1/2" hex bolts, drawing the bottom end of MOUNTING BRACKETS upward against the underside of rain gutter.
5. Secure the MOUNTING BRACKET to STANCHION, sandwiching the rain gutter between them by tightening the two 1" carriage bolts.
6. Retighten the 1-1/2" hex bolts securely.
7. Repeat steps above for each bar assembly.
8. After securely mounting both bar assemblies to vehicle roof:
a.) Use existing hole in the end of each Outer Bar Assembly, drill a 5/16" hole through Inner Bar Assembly, both bar assemblies.
b.) Install the 2" hex bolt and locknut through drilled hole in each bar and tighten securely.
9. Check that all fasteners are properly tightened.
10. Do not exceed 62" length of bar assembly measured inside to inside of stanchions when installed.
REGULARLY CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF MOUNTING HARDWARE. TIGHTEN AS NECESSARY.
Loads should be evenly distributed and secured
Any weight carried on the vehicle will adversely affect its handling particularly in cornering or in a cross wind and the vehicle should
therefore be driven with increased caution.
