8. Response to mains failures
Mains failure of less than 24 hours
The display shows the "——:——" symbol for some time and then goes blank.
The programmed switching times and the actual data (summer/winter time, actual time,
date, day of the week are maintained in memory for up to 24 hours.
On return of power, the last switching command in the program memory is executed and
the blind/shutter is moved to the position corresponding to the program.
The programmed data are maintained and the shutter control is again ready for operation.
Example:
Programmed switching time: DOWN at 20:15
Mains failure at 20:10
Return of mains supply at 20:20
Last switching command DOWN at 20:15 is executed
The blind/shutter moves down, the actually valid position is reached.
Mains failure of more than 24 hours
The programmed switching times are maintained.
The actual data (summer/winter time, actual time, date, day of the week) are lost and
must be entered again.
The display shows 12:00 and flashes. As the actual time is no longer existing, the blind/
shutter cannot move to the programmed position.
