5.3 Loading
i
Important!
The completely filled diesel trolley is
heavy – do not try to lift it on your own.
The empty diesel trolley can be loaded using the
grip recesses j in the area of the wheels and
the transport handle. Note that the equipment
weighs 15 kg when empty.
5.4 Transporting
During transport, observe the pertinent
regulations for transport and securing loads,
in particular:
• Road traffic (licensing) act of the country in
question,
• CEN 12195 Parts 1 to 4 for calculation and
lashing.
i
Important!
Positive fit before traction! First, try
to positively load the equipment
(e.g. through striking the sides).
Excessive lashing forces can deform the tank
and thus damage it.
5.5 Filling the tank
Place the diesel trolley in a horizontal position
and remove screw cap.
Fill the container through the filling opening
using a delivery nozzle with automatic shut-off
feature.
After filling, close the filling open tightly again
with the screw cap a. Also close the ventilation
cap in the screw cap.
Contamination of the container caused by the
filling process must be removed immediately
with a dry cloth.
5.6 Filling
Filling is possible when the tank is in a horizon-
tal or vertical position.
Better suction and total evacuation is achieved
when the tank is in a horizontal position.
Note that excessive tensile forces on
the delivery hose may tip the diesel
trolley out of the vertical position.
Open the ventilation cap (see fig. 01) in the
screw cap.
Open the delivery line ball valve b .
Open the delivery nozzle lock and insert the
delivery nozzle fully into the container/tank to
be filled.
Operate the delivery nozzle e .
Move the hand pump forwards and backwards
in a horizontal direction and start the filling
process.
i
Important!
Constantly monitor the
filling process.
Only operate the hand pump when the
ventilation cap and ball valve are open!
After the filling process:
Close delivery nozzle and allow to stop dripping.
Wind up hose.
Insert delivery nozzle into the integrated
delivery nozzle holder h and secure with
delivery nozzle lock g .
Close ball valve of the delivery line b .
Close ventilation cap in screw cap (fig. 01).
