DIRECTIONAL REMOTE LIGHTHEAD MODEL CD-200
The CD-200 directional remote lighthead are adjustable swivel lights with a wide visibility
range and a light distribution which is laterally reinforced to offer higher safety levels at intersections.
This model includes a new linear reflector with a parabolic reflector. The use of two
lightheads offer a more than complete range of 180º.
This lihgthead, as with all strobe lights, should be connected to a power supply of suitable
capacity. It can be connected to any power supply unit manufactured by Federal Signal Vama,
S.A., or any other units available on the market which are compatible with the following lamp
specifications:
Maximum flash energy : 30 joules/flash
Maximum power : 35 W
Voltage: Maximum 500 V, minimum 160 V

1 This instruction manual.
1 CD-200 directional remote lighthead with plastic bracket and threaded rod or
with metal bracket mounting.
1 Plastic bag containing:
1 3 way socket connector Ref. 9018048
3 Female terminals Ref. 9018014
1 Connector sheath Ref. 9133193
1 Pin block Ref. 9133849 (only on a motorbike fairing or similar surface)
1 Plastic nut Ref. 9133845 (only on a motorbike fairing or similar surface)
INSTALLATION
A) MOUNTING ON A MOTORBIKE
FAIRING OR SIMILAR SURFACE
The lighthead is supplied with a plastic
bracket and threaded rod with a sufficient
diameter to thread through the cable and
connector.
Tools required:
Portable electric drill
Circular drill bit with a diameter of 26 mm
Round file 5 mm in diameter
Nº 2 Philips screwdriver
Nº 6 Allen key
1) Choose the position for the lighthead
and drill a hole using the circular drill bit 26
mm. in diameter.
2) Insert the connector through the drill
hole and pass through the threaded rod. The
rubber pad which provides a close fit to the
surface should be in position. You will note that
the sides are not parallel. Select the position
where the best support is given.
