Important
The following basic precautions should be taken whilst using this appliance:
- Read the operating instructions before using the appliance;
- Before plugging the total ironing board into the mains, check that the mains voltage corresponds to that
indicated on the rating plate;
- Use an earthed electric socket (15 A) for safety reasons;
- The appliance must be used for its designed purpose only, ironing;
- Do not plug several high voltage appliances into the same electric socket;
- If an extension cable is used, ensure that it is of 15 Amps. Place the extension cable so as to avoid tripping
over or accidentally disconnecting it. It must be earthed.
- To disconnect the appliance, never pull on the electric cable, pull on the plug;
- Ensure that the electric cable does not come in contact with hot surfaces;
- Never use your total ironing board if the electric cable is damaged or if the appliance is damaged. To avoid
electric shocks, never dismantle your total ironing board. Contact your Authorised After-Sales Service
Centre to have the appliance checked or repaired;
- Always pay particular attention when ironing in the presence of children. Some of the metallic parts of
the ironing board can become very hot, so avoid touching the underside of the tabletop;
- Never leave your total ironing board plugged in whilst unattended;
- Never immerse your appliance in water, even partially;
- After ironing, leave your appliance to cool down. Fold away the ironing board and store it vertically, the
pointed end downwards;
- All repairs must be carried out by an Authorised After-Sales Service Centre to ensure that they comply with
the safety standards detailed in this pamphlet;
- Any interference by an unauthorised person will render the guarantee void.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the models presented along with their specifications and
