The control unit is equipped with an incorporated radio module for the reception of rolling code controls
or programmable code, 433.92 MHz of frequency.
Two different types of encodings do not coexist, the first transmitter stored determines the type of
transmitters that can be stored. To change the remote control encoding type is necessary a reset of
the radio memory.
The number of flashes of the RADIO LED next to the button S2, shows the type of encoding in use.
1 flash: CAB rolling code transmitters
2 flashes: CAB dip-switches transmitters
3 flashes: not used
4 flashes: HCS transmitters
5 flashes: empty radio memory
It is necessary store a remote control in memory before using it. The memorization procedures are
described hereunder.
The device is able to store up to 64 different rolling code remotes in memory.
The remote control learning can be carried out in two different modes:
1) QUICK LEARNING
With this mode, the function of every single button is programmed automatically. During the remote
control learning it is sufficient press one of the buttons of the remote (no matter which one) and the
remote will automatically acquire the following functions:
TX 4 KEYS: key 1 = OPEN / key 2 = CLOSE / key 3 = STOP / key 4 = Step-by-Step
TX 3 KEYS: key 1 = OPEN / key 2 = CLOSE / key 3 = STOP
TX 2 KEYS: key 1 = OPEN / key 2 = CLOSE
To store a transmitter in this way proceed as follows:
1. Hold down the button S2.
2. When the RADIO LED is switched on release the button.
3. Within 10 seconds press a button of the transmitter to be stored.
4. The successful memorization will be indicated by 3 flashes of the RADIO LED, after that it will
switched on with fixed light. To store additional transmitters, repeat the operation from step 3,
otherwise wait 10 seconds (when the LED switches off the control panel is out of memorization
mode).
2) MANUAL LEARNING
With this mode, the desired function can be associated with each button of the transmitter (open,
close, stop or PP)
To store a transmitter in this way proceed as follows:
1. Press and release the S2 key as many times as the desired function number:
1 pressure = Step-by-Step function
2 pressures = OPEN function
3 pressures = CLOSE function
4 pressures = STOP function
2. Check that the RADIO LED emits the same number of flashes of the desired function
3. Within 10 seconds, press the push-button of the transmitter to be associated with a specific
function.
4. The successful memorization will be indicated by 3 flashes of the RADIO LED, after that it will
emit again the number of flashes related to the chosen function. To store additional transmitters,
repeat everything from step 3, otherwise it is possible to press the S2 key once more to change
the function or wait until 10 seconds are over (when the LED switches off the control panel is out of
memorization mode).
