For connection couple both ends of the plug-in connector together until
the clips click into position.
Press on the clips simultaneously while pulling the two parts of the plug-
in connector apart to disconnect the switch from the underblanket (see
illustration).
We recommend switching on the underblanket approx. 30 minutes
before going to bed and covering it with the quilt to prevent the heat from
escaping.
Attention: The electronic components in the switch will cause the
switch to warm up slightly when the electric underblanket is being used. For this reason, the
switch must never lie on the electric underblanket or be covered by blankets, pillows etc.
3.3 Temperature selection
To operate the underblanket first connect the switch to the radiator by plugging in the connector.
Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.
You will obtain the most rapid heating-up of the electric underblanket by first setting the highest
temperature level. For use over several hours, we recommend that you select the lowest tempera-
ture level.
3.4 Temperature levels
0 = Off
1 = Minimum heat
2 = Medium heat
3 = Maximum heat
3.5 Automatic switch-off function
This heat underblanket switches off automatically after approximately 3 hours.
The red indicator light on the switch is illuminated while the heat underblanket is being heated. After
the switch-off time expires, the underblanket is no longer heated and the red indicator light starts
flashing. To heat the underblanket again, first set the switch to zero '0' (off) for approx. 5 seconds
and then select the required temperature. If the heated underblanket is no longer used after timeout,
it should be switched off (setting '0') or else disconnected from the mains.
4. Cleaning and care
Always remove the power plug from the power supply before cleaning the electric underblan-
ket. Small spots can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge and if necessary a little mild liquid
detergent. Note that the electric underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, machine dried
or ironed. On no account switch on the electric underblanket to dry it. Do not hang up the electric
underblanket with clothes pegs or similar to dry it.
4.1 Cleaning and care of electric underblankets with removable switches
These electric underblankets are machine washable. Before the washing cycle, first disconnect
the plug connection and thus remove the plug from the electric underblanket (see illustration 3.2).
Set the washing machine to a delicate washing cycle at 30 °C. Use a mild detergent with dosa-
ge according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note that the electric underblanket will suffer
from too frequent washing. For its entire life, therefore, the electric underblanket should be
washed not more than 5 times in a washing machine.
Only reconnect the switch to the electric
.
underblanket after the plug connection and the electric underblanket are completely dry
