LOW BATTERY INDICATION

If the batteries need to be replaced, the following symbol appears on the display:
Please open the back board of the scale, then take the batteries carefully out of the battery compartment!
Please push the metal sheet outwards with your fi nger nails or a sharp instrument. The battery will pop
out. Be careful not too bend the contacts while you are changing the batteries or you may break the
scale. Dispose the old batteries in a safe place! Do not throw the old batteries into the fi re!
CARE AND ATTENTION
• Place your scale on a hard fl at surface, it will ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability!
• Always weigh yourself on the same scale and on the same fl at surface. Uneven surfaces may affect
the accuracy of the weighing.
• Always weigh yourself without clothes or footwear, and never shortly after meals. The best time to
weigh yourself is before breakfast.
• The scale rounds up or down to the nearest 100g/0,2lb/1/4lb. If you weight yourself twice and get two
different readings, your weight lies between these two results.
• Clean your scale with a slightly damped cloth, but do not allow water to get inside the scale! Do not
use any chemical cleaning agents!
• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the electronics!
• Do not store the scale in an upright position when it is not in use as this will drain the batteries!
• Remove the batteries if the scale is not going to be used for a long period of time!
