Use
Filtering mode
If it is not possible to fit an exhaust flue for smoke and fumes to be discharged
outside, it is possible to use the filtering model. Charcoal filters are required for
this type of hood.
Air is filtered using charcoal filters, then it is sent back into the room through
an evacuation pipe which directs the air through the side of the cabinet.

Installation must conform to the regulations in force regarding the
ventilation of enclosed environments. In particular, discharged air must
not be channelled into a conduit used for exhaust discharge or discharge
from devices that operate with gas or other combustible materials.
The product can be installed at a distance of less than 65 cm from the
cook top, according to the standard EN60335-2-31:1997.
Maximum efficiency is achieved in evacuation mode. For this reason it
is advisable to use the appliance in this mode when possible.
For greater efficiency use the lowest speed for low concentrations of
smoke and mild odours, medium speed for normal conditions and high
speed for high concentrations of doors and vapours.
It is recommended that the appliance be allowed to run before cooking
and again for a few minutes after cooking, until there is no more odour.
A timer may be used for this purpose.
In order for this appliance to function correctly, the kitchen windows
should be kept close. Instead, open a window in an adjacent room if
needed.
