Press the on/off button (key 4) before starting the charge of the STARTRONIC.

Full charge takes approximately 2 minutes. During the charge, the voltage indicators will blink
until they reach 14V.
When the 14V indicator stops blinking, the device is charged and ready to start your vehicle.

Start your engine.

When the engine starts, remove the clamps from the vehicle.
PRECHARGE MODE
It is possible that the vehicle's battery is too deeply discharged (<5V) and will not fully charge the
STARTRONIC. In that case, the fault indicator (6) turns red during the charge.
The device can be charged in 3 different ways :

STARTRONIC 400 / 800
Plug the car adaptor (8) on the car's cigarette lighter socket.
Plug the other end to the STARTRONIC's entry port (3) to start the charge.
(Full charge will take approximately 2 minutes.)
The STARTRONIC can be charged via its micro USB port (2) with any device equipped
with a USB port 5V 2A. USB charging cable not supplied.
(Full charge will take approximately 15 minutes.)
Connect the STARTRONIC to a substitute 12V battery and press the on/off button to
start.
(Full charge will take approximately 2 minutes.)
When the 14V indicator stops blinking, the device is charged and ready to start your
vehicle.
Connect the red clamp to the battery's (+) and the black clamp to the battery's (-).
Press the on/off button (key 4), the 14V indicator comes on.
