Installation Overview

Each procedure is detailed below.
Mounting the Terminal
The VRC 394X is designed for installation on a fork lift or similar
vehicle, or can be mounted on a wall or work bench. The
accessories for installing the VRC are included with the unit but
due to the range of installation possibilities, specific mounting
instructions are not provided in this document. General
installation steps and pointers are provided in the Series 3900
Product Reference Guide.

Initiate Network Connection

Cold Boot the Terminal
Note: Verify that terminal is OFF before cold booting.
1. Press and hold down the <Enter>, <F4>, and <F1> keys.
2. Press and release the <On/Off> key.
3. Release the <Enter>, <F4>, and <F1> keys.
The system resets and memory is cleared. A copyright message
is displayed, as well as amount of RAM, and amount of
expanded memory. Other messages are displayed as well,
varying with the system configuration.
