Place the two cargo baskets end to end

Position the hitch beam in place; make sure that the caution
sticker faces away from the vehicle. Secure the beam to the
cargo baskets using the 3/8" hardware. Be careful not to over
tighten these bolts, as the hitch beam will crush. Start with the
middle hole using the 3/8 x 3" bolt; this will allow for the proper
installation of the support beam. With the center secured, proceed to
the two outside holes. Using 3/8-16x3 ½" Bolts attach the cargo
basket to the hitch beam and the support beam.
