Installation for Combination Units
NOTICE!
Avoid cleaners containing organic solvents, alcohols, and hydrocarbons.
Rinse with water after cleaning.
Supplies Required:
• Pipe sealant
• Hardware to mount wall bracket to wall
Close the water supply before connecting the hose assembly.
Apply pipe sealant (supplied by installer) to all male threaded pipe joints.
Use a strap wrench around the yellow pipes to prevent marring.
Step 1: Connect the hose and water supply
1. Remove the 3¹⁄₈" pipe connected to the eyewash valve.
2. Connect one pipe nipple, the pipe tee, and the other pipe nipple (in that order) between the eyewash valve and the union
(or hub, for Halo units).
3. Mount the hose clip to the vertical piping using the hardware provided or mount the wall bracket to the wall with hardware
supplied by the installer. Mount in a location unobstructed to the user.
4. Open the water supply line. Test for leaks and adequate water flow.
Standard combination unit is shown.
