ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
3. Drill a 1/8 inch-3/16 inch pilot hole into the first wood
surface. Start a tree hook (AA) in the hole, threading the
eye with a screwdriver to twist all the way in. Stop when
the hook eye makes contact with wood; over-twisting can
damage the metal and weaken hanging support. Repeat
with the second tree hook and the other wood surface.

4. Hook the free ends of the hanging chains (B) on each
side of the hammock over the installed tree hooks (AA),
then use chain links to adjust to the preferred hammock
height and tautness. The hammock may have to be
stretched at first to get its chains onto the hooks;
hammock ropes naturally shorten in storage but can
stretch noticeably during initial use. Once the rope is fully
stretched, hammock height may again need to be
adjusted by changing the links of the hanging chain on
both sides.
