Carry out the function test as follows:
1. Check that the zip fasteners can be opened fully to both sides.
The zip fasteners must not jam.
2. Check that the fittings, handles and backpack straps are secure
and undamaged.
Exchange defective parts.
The emergency backpack is maintenance-free, but please note the
intervals for regular function tests (see "7 Function test", page 28).
We recommend that you have repair work carried out by the
manufacturer WEINMANN Emergency or by experienced
personnel.
Do not dispose of the unit with domestic waste. To dispose of the
unit properly, please contact a licensed, certified electronic scrap
disposal merchant. This address is available from your Environment
Officer or from your local authority. The unit packaging (cardboard
box and inserts) can be disposed of as waste paper.
