Getting Started Guide English
Congratulations on choosing the TRW
easycheck service tool.
This Getting Started Guide will outline
the components of TRW easycheck and
how to connect and use the service
tool. Before using this service tool refer
to the Operating Instructions on the
web page www.trwaftermarket.com/
easycheck and select downloads.
Getting started
To start using your new TRW easycheck
tool please register your details in the
Administration Centre on the TRW
website first. Go to
www.trwaftermarket.com/
easycheck.
After the registration process,
download the TRW easycheck
Management Console and follow the
on-screen installation instructions to
activate it.
You will need your username and
password.
Should these not be available you can
reset them by going to the
Administration Centre on the TRW
website and follow the guide to reset
your credentials.
If you have correctly followed the steps
above you should have successfully
activated your "TRW easycheck
Management Console".
Now your new TRW easycheck tool
can:

be unlocked for use
•
have the language changed
•
be updated to the latest software
version and unlocked.
Getting Started Guide
Your tool has been supplied with an
update dongle, a USB cable and a
Power Supply.
Use these and connect one end of the
USB cable to your PC the other to the
dongle. Power up the update dongle
with the included Power Supply Unit
and connect to your tool.
This starts the installation procedure of
the drivers for your tool.
Once your tool has been recognised,
the serial number will be displayed at
the top of the Management Console.
Proceed with the unlocking, language
and updating processes as needed.
