Introduction

These instructions cover the installation and calibration of the sheet Tension Indicator System
from ALTEC. The tension indicators are designed to be used with the load cells ALTEC or CMC.
Refer to manual for installing them.

Configuration

The indicators can be supplied with DIN 1/8 case for mounting on front panels or open panels for
mounting on DIN rail.

Operation Principle

The tension reading on a sheet is made by sensing, via load cells with strain gages, the force
caused on the sensor roll. The electric signal is registered in the indicator as the total tension.
