causing the intensity level to freeze at that current level.
In this situation, if you turn the rheostat intensity dial, the level
on the screen may not change but the actual intensity from the
receiver/collar will change in agreement with the dial.
In this situation, it is ideal to either wait until your transmitter
is back to working order before emitting a correction, or while
holding the constant button down slowly turn the Rheostat
Intensity Dial while watching your dog's reaction. Do not
turn the Rheostat Intensity Dial at a rapid increase because the
receiver/collar will emit a static correction based on the level of
the Rheostat Intensity Dial, which might not be correctly
reflected on the LCD screen.

10. CODE SETTING

Code setting Additional Receivers
1. Turn the transmitter on by pushing the ON/OFF button
located on the side of the transmitter and set the intensity dial
to "0".
2. Place the red dot on the back of the transmitter to the red dot
of the receiver/collar you would like to code. Hold the two
red dots together for about 5 seconds until the green LED
blinks rapidly on the receiver/collar.
3. While the green LED is rapidly blinking on the receiver/
collar, press the 2 orange buttons on the front and side of the
transmitter simultaneously. The LED indicator light on the
receiver/collar will blink every 4 seconds when the coding
is complete.
4. With the 2-dog receiver/collar coded to the ARC 800,
the gray buttons will operate your existing receiver/collar,

and the orange buttons will operate the newly coded
receiver/collar.

5. To code set the ARC 800 for 1-dog use, repeat steps
1 and 2 above. While the green LED is rapidly blinking on
the receiver/collar, press the 2 gray buttons on the front and
side of the transmitter simultaneously. The LED indicator
light on the receiver/collar will blink every 4 seconds when
the coding is complete.
6. When a button is pressed on your coded handheld
transmitter, an LED indicator light will blink on the
corresponding receiver/collar.

11. HOW TO ATTACH THE BELT CLIP ON THE ARC 800

To attach the included belt clip to the transmitter, follow the
instructions below.
1. Align the belt clip to the grooves on the back of the
transmitter.
2. With a firm grip, screw on the belt clip using the provided
Philips head screws.
Caution! Tighten until firmly in place. Be careful not to over tighten.
