Conventional preheating:
if a conventional preheating is necessary should allow the mould to set for at least 60 minutes, then place it in
a cold furnace and heat to the required temperature at a heat rate of 5 - 7°C per minute. Holding stages are
not required when using Presto Vest ii.
Concentration of the expansion liquid:
24 ml liquid / 100 g powder
High-gold-content precious metals:
liquid ratio type 100 / distilled water: 55 % / 45 %

Devesting:
Single crowns and inlays can be devested just 30 minutes after casting, but bridges have to be left to cool
to room temperature before devesting. Presto Vest ii is easy to devest using plaster nippers and, if necessa-
ry, a pneumatic chisel. Soak moulds for a few minutes before devesting to minimise the amount of dust
produced. Sandblast with aluminium oxide and/or glass beads at 3 bars.
