The standard model PLB is intended to be used on approved surfaced to tip up an edge or corner of heavy objects so that lifting
equipment can get under the object to raise it off the ground.
Loading and Operation
Warning: Using the pry bar in a manner inconsistent with the instructions in this document could cause serious personal injury and /
or property damage.
Caution: Only qualified individuals trained for proper lifting methods should be allowed to use this equipment.
Caution: Comply with the established safety procedures when using the pry lever bar.

The load rating of the wooden pry lever bar (series PLB-) is 4,250 pounds (for example, a 48" x 48" pallet which
weighs a 4,250 pounds), and the rating of the steel pry lever bar (series PLB/S-) is 5,000 pounds.
Warning: Do not exceed the pry lever bar's load ratings. Injury to personnel or permanent damage to the pry lever bar of the load
could result from attempting the lift a load heavier than the stated capacity.
Caution: Never use the pry lever bar if any damage is observed or if it is in the need of repairs. Notify your supervisor or maintenance
personnel if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
Caution: Do not hang on, sit on, or bounce on the pry bar lever in an attempt to tip or hold a load.

To tip an object, roll the pry lever bar up to it and place the beveled edge of the steel nose plate under a point that
will support the weight of the object when it is tipped. Ensure that the edge of the pry bar is engaged under the load well enough to
prevent it form accidentally slipping out from under the load when it is tipped.
Caution: Only operate the pry bar from the end of the handle. Never place your head above the handle.
Caution: Do not apply more than 150 lbs. downward force on the end of the pry lever bar handle.
Caution: Be certain no part of any person or object is under any part of the load before lowering it to the ground.
Caution: Always carefully watch the load that is being tipped.
(A) Inspect daily for:
1.) Damage to the pry bar of the steel nose plate. (Cracks, bends or twists, etc.)
2.) Proper performance of the steel nose plat's wheels, i.e.: that the wheels and bearings are in good condition that the
axle pins are held in place properly.
3.) Proper tightness of the steel nose plate's mounting hardware.
(3) Inspect monthly for:
1.) Looseness or wear of the steel nose plate's rollers or axle.
2.) Integrity of the retaining hardware of the rollers.
C) Load-test the pry lever bar monthly by applying a force of 150 lbs. to the end of the handle under normal use conditions.
30- & 90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants for the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 30 days
(wooden units) and 90 days (steel units) after date of shipment. Any part that is determined by the manufacturer to be defective in
material or workmanship and returned to the factory, shipping costs prepaid, will be, as the exclusive remedy, repaired or replaced at
our option. Labor costs for warranty repairs and/or modifications are not covered unless pre-approved by the manufacturer of
warranty. The limited warranty gives purchaser specific legal rights which vary from state to state.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent allowable under applicable law, the manufacturer's liability for consequential and incidental damages is expressly
disclaimed. The manufacturer's liability in any event is limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price paid. Misuse or modifica-
tion may void warranty.
Warranty does not cover labor or consequential damages including, but not limited to, business interruption costs, lost profits, or lost
business opportunities.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
The manufacturer has made a diligent effort to accurately illustrate and describe their products. However, such illustrations and
descriptions are for the sole purpose of identification, and do not express or imply a warranty that the products are merchantable or fit
for a particular purpose, or that the products will necessarily conform to the illustrations or descriptions.
The provisions of the warranty shall be construed and enforced in accordance wit the Uniform Commercial Code and Laws enacted
in the State of Indiana.
DISPOSITION
Our company will make a good faith effort for prompt correction or other adjustment with respect to any product that proves to be
defective within the Limited Warranty Period. Warranty claims must be made in writing within said year.
