Emergency Use:
•
In the event of a fire, close doors before opening any window to prevent fire and smoke from
being drawn into the room.
•
Unless absolutely necessary, do not carry a child when using this ladder.
•
Do not carry pets or miscellaneous objects when using this ladder.
•
Instruct family members to use the escape ladder only when the primary escape path (the
main exit) is blocked or unsafe to use.
•
This ladder is intended to supplement (not replace) other fire protection principles of fire drills,
emergency evacuation plans, smoke detectors, sprinklers and fire extinguishers.
How to Deploy the Ladder in an Emergency:

Open the window and remove screen if present.

Make certain the area below is clear of all
obstacles, people, and animals
