Installation Steps
Thank you for choosing the Werner Fire Escape Ladder. It is our hope you never have to use it in a
real emergency, but should you need to, it is very important that it has been properly installed and
that you have successfully practiced using it. If you or someone you know is genuinely handy or a
professional carpenter, this installation should not be complicated or time consuming. The steps of
installation must be reviewed and understood by the installer prior to any installation. During
self-installation, if any installation step is confusing or outside your comfort level, please have your
escape ladder professionally installed. CAUTION: If you encounter ductwork, electrical wire,
receptacles or cables during installation, we recommend that you STOP and contact a professional
installer or electrician.
WARNING
