OPENING YOUR SAFE USING THE EXTERNAL BATTERY PACK
1. Insert 4 AA batteries into the external battery pack.
2. Locate outlet on bottom of electronic keypad faceplate.
3. Plug in external battery pack to the faceplate.
4. Enter access code and open door as normal.
OPENING YOUR SAFE USING THE MECHANICAL OVERRIDE KEY
1. Remove rubber plug on the door.
2. Insert tubular key.
3. Turn Key about 45 degrees counter-clockwise.
4. Turn handle to the left to open the door.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. Never leave a loaded fi rearm in this safe. Some types of weapons may discharge
easily, and even though this safe is all metal construction, a bullet may penetrate
the steel wall.
2. Check and remove fi rearms contained in this safe before returning it to Homak or
a Retail store. If the safe will not open, a certifi ed locksmith may be able to open
this product safely.
3. Always leave safe locked while on display in stores.
4. Not intended for use by children. Do not play on, in or around.
5. Do not lock mechanical override keys or external battery pack inside the safe. Keep
mechanical override keys and external battery pack in a safe, seperate location.
6. Homak does not have your access code. If you lose or misplace your code, you
must open the safe with a mechanical override key to gain access to the
programming button.
7.Homak can keep your access code on fi le at your request during product
registration. It is reccomeneded that you register your product in case you lose or
misplace your access code.
