PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USE
WARNINGS!
Not suitable for children under 36 months. Choking
hazard. Contains small parts that could be swallowed. To
be used under the direct supervision of an adult. Only for
children over 8 years old. Warning! This product must be
kept out of reach of young children. It must only be used
as indicated on the instructions. Hot point. In the event
that these instructions are not followed, the product may
present risks of injury (burns). Read the instructions before
use, comply with them and keep them for future
reference. Keep all instructions.
Toy with transformer:
Only use the toy with a transformer for toy that has the
required features, noted in the instructions. The
transformer is not a toy. It must be handled with certain
precautions. Misuse of transformer can cause electrical
shock. When the toy is not being used, unplug the
transformer from the network so that it is not turned on
needlessly. Toys requiring cleaning with liquid must first
be disconnected from the transformer before carrying
out the operation. We recommend that you inspect the
transformer regularly in order to detect any damage in
the cable, plug, case, and other parts to prevent the toy
from being used with this transformer until it has been
repaired or changed, in case of damage. Do not use any
other form of power source other than the transformer

SETTING UP
Do not leave paper close to the pyrography machine.
Only use you pyrography machine indoors, in a well
ventilated room. Use your pyrography machine in a clean,
dry environment (with no dust or moisture) and in an
uncluttered space: there must be no curtains, paper, or
textiles close by. Use a stable work surface, avoid rooms
with carpets if possible.

Safety rules:
Clean the pyrography machine regularly by rubbing the
point on a cloth (unplugged and when the point is cold).
Wait until the point is cold (about 2 minutes) before
replacing in the box. Only use your pyrography machine
for engraving. Do not touch hot point with fingers. (see
red/flashing light)! Keep away from solvents or
flammable materials. Do no cover pyrography machine
with flammable materials such as paper, plastic, cloth etc.
If you have long hair, tie it up.
This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or whose experience or knowledge
are not sufficient, unless they benefit from supervision or
prior instructions concerning the use of the device
provided by a person who is responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.
First aid information:
In case of skin contact and burns: Wash affected area with
plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Consult a doctor if
necessary.

Preparation: choose a suitable and resistant surface (a
wooden board, for example): any type of plastic table cloth
must not be used. Before plugging in, check that your
pyrography machine has been placed down securely. You
can use adhesive tape to keep it in position while keeping
about 60cm of cable for manoeverability. You must work
in an area close to a power source and never place the
transformer on a table.
