GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow the safety instructions in this chapter to avoid safety risks with the
device.
WARNING AGAINST ELECTRICAL VOLTAGES
► Only insert the plug of the charging station into sockets installed in accordance
with the regulations, otherwise the consequences may be a short circuit or
electric shock. The socket used should be equipped with a residual current
circuit breaker (RCCD).
► Keep the device and the charging station away from water or other liquids,
otherwise an electric shock or short circuit may result. Do not shear wet
animals.
► Do not make any improper changes or modifications to the unit.
WARNING
► Do not expose the battery to extreme heat, cold, pressure or moisture. There
is a risk of explosion.
► Do not expose the device or charging station to extreme heat, cold, pressure
or moisture. This could damage the device or the charging station and cause
an electrical fire when the device is put into operation.
► Only use the device in well-ventilated rooms and away from flammable or
explosive substances.
► Only charge the battery in well-ventilated rooms, away from moisture and
flammable or explosive substances.
► Only carry out adjustments to the device and maintenance work when the
unit has been switched off and the battery has been removed to prevent the
device from being switched on accidentally.
► The device may only be operated by persons who have experience in
handling the animals to be clipped. Physically impaired persons must be
under supervision during use.
► Children are not allowed to handle the device. Keep the device away from
children.
► Do not leave the device unattended to prevent misuse of the device by
children and third parties.
CAUTION
► Do not use the device for longer than specified for maximum continuous
operation. Allow the unit device rest for at least 10 minutes afterwards.
► In case of unusual noises or smells as well as smoke development, switch off
the device and remove the battery.
► Make sure that the mains cable of the charging station does not pose a danger
to people or animals. Route the cord so that neither people nor animals can
trip over it, get tangled in it or step on it.
► Keep hands, loose clothing and jewellery away from the clipper blades during
operation to prevent injury from entrapment.
► To prevent injury to the eye from foreign objects, use the device only on
cleaned fur and use protective goggles during use.
► Only use the device with correctly inserted and sharp clipper blades.
