3.1.10 SOCKET TORCH CONTROL PUSHBUTTON
Socket (Rif. 12 - Fig. 1 page 3) for connection of the torch pushbutton.
3.1.11 GAS OUTLET FITTING (GAS OUT)
Connect the gas pipe leading (Rif. 13 - Fig. 1 page 3) to the electrode
torch to this fitting and fully tighten.
3.1.12 REMOTE CONTROL SOCKET
(Ref. 16 - Fig. 1 page 3)
Remote control device. This is supplied on request and, when
connected, allows for remote variation of the amount of current
necessary so that the operator does not have to interrupt welding
or abandon the work area.
CAUTION: This optional automatically disables the amperage selector.
3.2
REAR PANEL
Ensure that these connections are well tightened to avoid power loss and over-
heating.

BEFORE INSERTING THE MAINS PLUG, IN ORDER TO AVOID THE BREAKING
OF POWER SOURCE, CHECK IF THE MAINS CORRESPOND TO THE WISHED
MAINS SUPPLY.
Insert the cylinder gas pipe into this fitting (Rif. 16 - Fig. 2 page 4) and secure
with a hose clamp.
4.0 MAINTENANCE
Disconnect power before maintenance. Service more often dur-
ing severe conditions.
Every three (3) months, perform the operations below:
a.
Replace unreadable labels.
b.
Clean and tighten weld teminals.
c.
Replace damaged gas hose.
d.
Repair or replace cracked cables and cords.
Every six (6) months, perform the operation below:
a.
Blow out the inside of the unit.
b.
Increase frequency of cleaning when operating in dirty or dusty conditions.
