ATTENTION - The condenser can ONLY be used on vehicles having a board-tension of 12 V (The condenser does not
work on 24V-vehicles, like lorries, excavators etc.). Do NOT install the condenser in positions exposed to direct sun or
extreme temperatures.
NEVER CONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE OF THE CONDENSER DIRECTLY WITH THE GROUND-TERMINAL OF THE
AMPLIFIER OR WITH THE NEGATIVE POLE OF THE BATTERY, BUT ONLY WITH THE CAR CHASSIS.
USE: The condenser is an energy-storing device capable of facing moments of high electric absorption by the in-car Stereo.
The condenser is a precious help, for example, in the case of quick music passages involving low frequencies.
INSTALLATION: To obtain the maximum performance of this electro-digital condenser, it is advisable to choose an instal-
lation point, nearest possible to the amplifiers.
To protect the main power-supply cable, always install a fuse near to the battery.
The negative cable of the condenser must be directly connected to the car body-work.
The positive and negative cables of the condenser must have the same section as the power-supply cables of the amplifi-
er.
CHARGING PROCEDURE: Connect the supplied resistance in the place of the main fuse, in order to slow-down the charg-
ing procedure and avoid the sparks normally caused by high current passages.
When the charging process starts, two blue leds will light on the digital display, signalling that the system is charging the
condenser.
When the condenser charging-process is completed, the car board-tension will appear on the display.
Now take the resistance off and re-insert the main fuse.
DISCHARGING PROCEDURE: Whenever the condenser has to be removed from the electric installation or the current
supply to be disconnected, it is important to check that the condenser is discharged.
The condenser starts dicharging as soon as the current-supply is switched off.
The discharging process will be complete, as soon as the acoustic and visual signals disappear.
To accelerate the process, install the supplied resistance between the positive and negative poles.
DISPLAY FUNCTIONING: The digital display and the neon-frame enter automatically into function whenever the voltage of
the system varies.
As soon as the board-tension gets constant, the display and neon-frame will become active for 1 minute and then cut-off
automatically, turning to the stand-by position.
DIAGNOSIS-LED - The Led switches off, when the fuse gets interrupted.
POLARITY INVERSION: The condenser is equipped with an integrated circuit, as a protection against wrong connections
made through accidental polarity inversions. This integrated circuit blocks the unit from being switched on and signals the
mistake by means of an acoustic sound.
It is advisable, in any case, to attentively check the correctness of the connections made.
THE PACKAGE CONTAINS: 1 set of tools / 1 charging/discharging resistance (33 Ohm-5W).
