General Considerations
- Place the treadmill on a flat surface at least 30cm away
from any wall, keeping the lower part free from any
obstacles.
IMPORTANT: Unfailingly, all electrical appliances
must be grounded.
- Improper connection of the equipment grounding
conductor can result in the risk of electrocution. If in
doubt about how the machine should be grounded,
consult a licensed electrician.
- To prevent the motor from overheating, do not
operate the appliance for more than one hour in
domestic machines.
- Unplug the unit when not in use and every time you
perform maintenance, thus avoiding unnecessarily
overheating the transformer and motor, which could
damage and ruin your equipment.
- Lack of maintenance, preventive and periodic
cleaning, can cause an increase in energy consumption.
- Make sure that the electrical installation (wiring, plug
and switch) that will connect the treadmill is rated for at
least 10A.
- Very old sockets, loose or rusted contacts, must be
replaced.
- Do not use stabilizers or extensions, or make
modifications to the power cord, and never operate the
treadmill together with other equipment on the same
outlet.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified electrician or technical personnel.
- When plugging the treadmill into the outlet, wait
about 10 seconds before using the monitor.
- The treadmill can trigger the protection system
(reducing the speed of the treadmill or even stopping
it) when the user's weight is greater than that specified
for the product.
- Never allow more than one person to use the treadmill
at the same time.
- Consult your doctor before starting and during any
exercise program. Special attention should be given to
children, pregnant women, the elderly, people with
heart problems and people with disabilities.
- The values indicated on the monitor are reference
points, they cannot be considered with sufficient
precision for clinical evaluation.
- Keep away from equipment, children and pets,
especially during use and do not insert objects into the
holes in the equipment.
- Do not stand on the treadmill when starting the
treadmill, avoiding forcing the motor. Always stand on
the sides. Get on only when the treadmill is moving very
slowly.
- Use suitable sportswear. Do not wear loose clothing
that can get caught in the equipment. To exercise,
always wear shoes, do not walk barefoot or with
sandals.
- This device is not intended to be used by people
whose physical or mental capacities are reduced or
inexperienced, unless they are supervised by a
responsible person.
