15. ERROR MESSAGES

The Power Peak E1 is equipped with a
range of safety features designed to ensure
that the charge and discharge processes
start and finish safely. As soon as an error
occurs, a corresponding message appears
on the screen, and the charger emits an
audible alert.
Once the cause of the problem has been eli-
minated, all the following error messages
can be cancelled by pressing any button.
Input voltage too low (less than 10 Volts).
Check the car battery or mains PSU.
The battery is connected with reversed
polarity. Check the connections.
Battery voltage or output voltage too high;
check cell count.
The charger also checks the cell count via
the equalizer socket, and compares the set-
ting with the value set in the Battery data
menu. If these values do not coincide, this
error message is displayed.
