Fitting the safety car seat (see fig. B+c+D)
· ! The safety car seat can be fitted either on
the front passenger seat, or on the rear seat.
· ! In any case it always must be positioned in
a rear facing mode (see fig. B)
· ! If the passenger seat is fitted with air bag,
it is compulsory to fit the safety seat on the
rear seat. (see fig. C)
To fit the safety seat properly (see fig. B+D):
· Fasten the 3 point safety harness of the car
(approved in compliance with standard ECE
n˚ 16 or equivalent) (see fig. B 1).
· Place the car safety seat in the passenger
seat and lower handle in the front posi-
tion (see fig. B 2): first press the buttons
(see fig.D, 5). on either side of the carrying
handle and then revolve it into position 1
(fig.D).
· Please make sure that the handle is locked
in position.
· Insert the 3 point lap belt (see fig.B, 3).into
the seating 4 and 5 (fig. B) and the shoulder
belt 6 into the seating 7 and 8 (fig. B).
· Tension the belt, paying attention that it is
always in the appropriate belt guides.
Fastening the baby (see fig. F+G)
· Place the baby into the car seat and fasten the
belt by slotting the two connectors 1 + 2 into
the buckle 3 (you should hear "click') (fig. F).
· Adjust the belt by pulling the end of the belt
(fig. G 1); to release the baby press the button
and proceed as shown in fig. G 2.
· The belts must be properly pulled and not twisted.
· To release the baby, press the red button 4 on
the buckle. (fig. F).
adjusting the harness shoulder height (see fig.
h+I)
· In the car seat`s backrest there are 3 pairs of
slots which can be used to adjust the position
of the shoulder strap according to the child`s
height (fig. H).
· To change the shoulder strap height release the
two ends 1 and 2 from 3 (fig.I); fit the two
straps into the slots at the more suitable height
for the child and join the ends 1 and 2 with 3.
· ! The baby must always fit the safety harness-
es. (fig. H 2)
Use as a seat (see fig. D)
· The Safe2go car seat can be used as a practical
