Objective Procedure

Reduce the suction power using the extrac-
tion control (1), switch to external extraction
if necessary
Repair compound with a high percentage of
filler, soft filler: switch to external extraction,
set extraction control to setting 6
Outstanding Use the correct grit (Cristal P 40 to P 120,
surface quality Brilliant 2 P 16 to P 320)
Repair compound with a high percentage
of filler, soft filler or materials that are
extremely easy to sand: use a fine grit,
e.g. from P 180

surface quality then switch on (4)

Set the correct suction power (5)
Outstanding Clean the filter element regularly:
dust extraction
Option 1: Set the suction power control to
the maximum setting (6). Cover the suction
hose or intake opening on the extractor
(7, 8) with the surface of your hand for
10 seconds until the automatic cleaning
cycle starts. To clean the second filter half:
switch off the machine, switch on again and
repeat the procedure.
Option 2: Clean the filter element mechani-
cally (extracting) (9).
Option 3: Check the filter element for
damage and clogging. Insert a new filter
element regularly.
