Safety notes
Note: Please ensure you read the following notes
before installing the light. Make sure the power is
switched off, before you install the light. The instal-
lation of the light should only be carried out by a
qualified expert.
This light may not be operated
unless all sealing rings are located properly!
LED-lights are extremely bright. Under no cir-
cumstances look into the light beam of the LED
lights, as this may cause permanent damage to
your eyes.
FIRE HAZARD! Fit the light so that it
is at least 1 m away from the material
1 m
to be illuminated. Excessive heat can
result in a fire.
If the glass is broken, it must be replaced
with a new original Brennenstuhl pro-
tective glass before further use.
RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! Ensure the
light has been switched off and allowed to
cool before you touch it.
Fitting the light
Note: The light has to be fitted to a dry, sturdy
and stable surface according to the notes in Fig. A.
Mark the positions of the holes in the bracket and
drill the respective holes into the wall. Affix the

connect it to the screw terminal of the light ac-
cording to Fig. B. (N = blue cable, earth sym-
bol = green /yellow cable, L = brown cable).
The light must be earthed! Please make sure
that the cable is suitably fastened by the cable
bracket.
Screw the top back on the connection box.
Take care that the seal is positioned properly.
Affix the light to the bracket using the supplied
screws and nuts. Align the light in the desired di-
rection and tighten the screws.
Only for model L130 PIR:
If possible ensure the motion sensor is not
pointing to objects that are subject to large
temperature differences, swimming pools, hot
air exits or air conditioning units.
Avoid pointing the motion sensor onto trees or
bushes, or towards places where pets often stay.
Please keep in mind when fitting the light that
the motion sensor reacts most sensitively to
movements through the detection area perpen-
dicular to it and the least sensitively to move-
ments directly towards it.
Adjust motion detector
On the bottom of the light are three controls
(see Fig. C).
Sensitivity (SENS):
Sensitivity means the maximum area where the
movement sensor is triggered by movements. Turning
the SENS-control clockwise increases the sensitivity.
Setting the timer (TIME):
The control TIME lets you choose a user defined
lighting time of between 15 seconds and 5 minutes
after the last movement has been registered. Turning
the TIME-control clockwise increases the time span.
