GB INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
) o
POWER SUPPLIER XA/300LR
Power supply and control unit ope-
rating on ECHELON bus, enables
system 300 coded installations
and block-type installations to be
created.
It enables conversations between
entry panels, receivers and porter
switchboard.
It manages service controls (entry
panel
self-connection/selection,
door-lock release, stair light, auxi-
liary control /porter call) as well as
the engaged status.
For the data lines towards the
block's entry panels, or main
entrance panels, the unit commu-
nicates by means of the LON TALK
protocol, whilst it uses a BPT proto-
col towards the receivers.
The connection bus towards the
entry panels consists in 4 twisted
pairs, whilst it uses a single twisted
pair towards the receivers.
The unit features a CNV connector
for connection to video modulator
XAV/300 and a CNS connector for
connection to the ICB/300 selector.
The system can be programmed in
either of two ways:
• Standard mode (installation with
a single XA/300LR power supplier)
by means of the actual XA/300LR
supplier;
• Extended mode (installation with
a number of XA/300LR power sup-
pliers, or if the standard configura-
tion is to be extended) by means of
programming unit MPP/300LR.
The XA/300LR unit, on its own,
can supply:
1 TM-series video entry panel, ana-
logue or digital Targha series;
• 1 activated video handset and 63
in stand-by;
• 5 XDV/300A amplifiers;
or
• 2 TM-series video entry panels,
analogue or digital Targha series;
• 5 XDV/300A amplifiers.
In audio entry control systems, the
XA/300LR unit can supply up to
200 reveivers.
NOTE. Up to 3 receivers can be
called with the same code.
The call can be extended to 8 recei-
vers by attenuating the volume of
the call note to 6 of them.
In order to attenuate the volume,
remove jumper SW1 from the recei-
ver.
Configuration of the installation
with programming in standard
mode and predefinited settings:
• max. 20 LON devices such as
entry panels and relay actuators;
• max. 64 call codes towards the
receivers per entry panel;
• system activation time: call 30 s,
conversation max. 60 s;
• door-lock release activation time:
settable to 1 s, 4 s, 8 s and 16 s for
ICP/LR module; adjustable in the
range 1 to 255 sec for entry panel
HAC/300LR.
The installation's functions can be
extended using the MPP/300LR
programming unit.
Example:
• number of entry panels;
• system activation time;
• programmable door-lock release
activation time;
• customizing call button positions;
• programming of receivers direc-
tly via LON data line.
WARNING. Once the power sup-
plier has been programmed using
the MPP/300LR unit, the entry
panels' standard programming is
no longer accessible.
To restore default conditions, acti-
vate receiver programming (the
LED flashes) and keep the SERVI-
CE button pressed for at least 15 s.

grammed which calls from the
entry panels are to be associated
with which receivers.
