TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The AC power cord is not
connected.
TV station experiencing problems.
Picture control is not adjusted.
Possible local interference.
Antenna/CATV connector is not connected.
TV station experiencing problems.
Cable TV channel is scrambled.
Possible local interference.
CATV (Cable) connected incorrectly/not connected.
Cable TV service interrupted.
RECEPTION option set to AIR (TV (NTSC) mode)
TV station experiencing problems.
MUTE button is pressed.
Possible local interference.
Antenna(Air)/CATV (Cable) connector not connected.
Volume is set to minimum.
TV station stopped broadcasting.
Sleep Timer is set.
Home circuit breaker is blown.
TV Signal is weak.
TV station experiencing problems or
program tuned is not closed captioned.
Closed Captioning not turned on.
The remote control is not
aimed at the sensor.
Distance is too far or too much
light in the room.
There is an obstacle in the
path of the beam.
The batteries are weak.
The batteries are not inserted
correctly.
Parental Control setting is turned off.
News or sports event being broadcast.
Ratings not set.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Connect the AC power cord to
the AC outlet.
Try another channel.
Check picture control adjustments.
Check for source of reception disturbance.
Check CATV connection or VHF/UHF antenna.
Try another channel.
A cable box needs to be used (if desired).
Check for source of reception disturbance.
Check all CATV (Cable) connections.
Set RECEPTION option to CABLE.
Contact your Cable TV company.
Set RECEPTION option to CABLE. (TV(NTSC) mode)
Try another channel.
Press MUTE button again.
Check for source of reception disturbance.
Check CATV (Cable) connection or VHF/UHF antenna.
Increase volume.
Tune to a new channel.
Turn off Sleep Timer function.
Reset or replace breaker.
Check CATV or VHF/UHF antenna.
Try another channel.
Turn on via the menu.
Aim the remote control at the

Operate within 20 feet or reduce
