Regular Cleaning (perform when refilling tank)
Turn off the unit and unplug it from outlet.

Lift off the water tank and empty any remaining

water from the tank and base.
Rinse the water tank and demineralization filter

under faucet flow.
Wipe dry all parts with a soft clean cloth or paper

Weekly Maintenance
Empty the water from the tank and base then fill

and add four tablespoons of white vinegar.
Swish solution vigorously around in the tank,

then let the solution sit for 20 to 30 minutes.
Rinse the water tank very thoroughly with clean

water. Do not leave any cleaning residue in the
tank. Wipe surfaces dry with soft cloth.
With the water tank set aside, clean the base
8.
with the same vinegar solution. Carefully pour
the solution into the basin portion of base. Let
solution sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Using a soft
toothbrush gently scrub the contours of the
base. Lift off the plastic door that covers the
nebulizer. Gently clean the nebulizer with the soft
brush. Do not scratch the nebulizer with a hard
object.
Pour out the solution, away from the air intake,

then rinse the water basin with fresh water and
wipe out thoroughly. Do not allow water or clean-
ing solution to get into the control section.
Replace the door to the nebulizer compartment.

Put a little vinegar/water solution on soft, clean

cloth and wipe down outer surface of the unit.
Dry outside surface body with soft, absorbent

cloth and reassemble.
NOTE: Replace optional demineralization cartridge
(part # DC1003PK) every 60 to 90 days of use.
Storage
Clean the unit as outlined in above. Dry the unit

Store the humidifier in the original package, if

available. Keep this manual with the unit.
