HUMIDIFIER
- To take out the bell e, unplug the appliance from the mains socket, remove the power cord, turn the bell anti-clockwise and lift it [Fig. B].
- Pour cold water into the tank d until you reach "MAX" marked on the level indicator a [Fig. C]. Never go over this limit (small model:
max. 3 litres – large model: max. 4 litres).
Use ordinary tap water and never put salt or anything else into the tank.
- When the tank is full, keep the appliance on a completely flat surface.
- If the lid gets wet whilst topping up or fitting the bell, leave it to dry before plugging in the appliance.
- To fit the bell in the tank, line up the symbol L with the one M on the humidifier body [Fig. D]. Then insert the bell in the tank and turn
it clockwise until it blocks.
At this point, the safety system allows you to insert the power cord in the appliance [Fig. E].
- If you are using perfume, pour a few drops into the perfume holder c [Fig. F] before turning on the appliance.
- To turn it on, put the plug in the mains socket. Vaporization should start after a few minutes. The steam production time varies
depending on water hardness.
- Warning: make sure the connector has been well inserted into the humidifier's socket.
- The indicator light i is constantly ON when the connector j is correctly inserted. If the indicator light i does not come on, or does
not stay on, check that connector is inserted correctly. If this problem persists, do not use the appliance and contact the Authorised
Service Centre.
- Regulate the amount of steam emitted using the special regulation knob b [Fig. G].
- When the water level in the tank reaches the lower edge of the electrodes, steam emission diminishes slowly until it stops. A small
amount of water will always remain in the tank.
- Before topping up again, it is advisable to empty the tank completely of water, rinse it and follow the instructions given.
TOPPING UP
- only for model (A)
- To top up the humidifier, turn the bell e anti-clockwise. Open the cap g and using a vessel, pour the desired quantity of water in
the hole h, keeping an eye on the maximum level shown on the level indicator [Fig. H]. If the lid or tank gets wet during topping up,
dry it before plugging in the appliance.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE HUMIDIFER
When you have stopped using the humidifier, it is advisable to empty it completely of water and rinse it.
Failure to observe this guideline leads to an increase in water conductivity, resulting in the following problems:
- unpleasant noise made by steam emission
- leaking drops of water
- rapid wear of electrodes.
Should the quantity of steam produced by the appliance decrease, clean the electrodes of scale. Cleaning is very simple: just use a
descaling solution or vinegar, pour it into a vessel and immerse the electrodes f of the bell up to the level shown [Fig. I].
Leave to work for a few hours, then rinse the electrodes f in cold water and dry the bell thoroughly, paying particular attention to the
socket on the appliance.
Maximum autonomy of small model: 9 hours
Maximum autonomy of large model: 12 hours
Warning: Do not direct the shot of steam towards any objects! Do not put the product on tables (in wood or glass) or on parquet
floors.
