Before first use, the battery must be charged for 10 hours.
• The appliance may heat up slightly during charging and use. This is normal.
• Your appliance is equipped with a battery that is not sensitive to the "memory effect": you
can therefore recharge this battery without having to discharge it first.
1. Check that the on/off switch is in the OFF position.
2. Then plug the mains adapter into a power outlet.
3. Place the appliance on the charging base as shown in diagram 3.
4. A red indicator light will come on when the appliance is charging on its base, as shown
in diagram 4.
If the indicator light is off, this means that the appliance has not been correctly placed
on its base.
5. When the charge is complete, the indicator light will turn green.
